Save the date for the world's most important bunkering convention
With the clear objective of being more than a meeting point for the main agencies offering bunkering services for ships, the International Bunker Industry Association (IBIA) is counting the days left for the celebration of its new global event, taking place on the 20th and until the 22nd of February in London, a capital that is particularly notable in the international maritime sector.
This event, organized by the international agency that brings the world's leading bunkering companies together, will begin with a gala dinner at the Grosvenor House Hotel that will be followed up by two days of meetings, presentations and forums. This series of events will be attended by the team of our ship bunkering agency in Ceuta, at the express request of the world’s leading maritime brokers and fuel suppliers.
Considered to be the most important bunkering event in the sector, the IBIA in London will be more than an excuse to promote itself and create networks between international brands: we are talking about three full days, where all current issues affecting the maritime sector, and the bunkering area in particular, will be discussed.
Ceuta, a strategic point for bunkering
Although it may seem like just another event, similar to the many we attend throughout the year, participating as a noted company in the International Bunker Industry Association (IBIA)’s convention is a highlight in our annual calendar. The reason? The fact that we are being recognized as one of the most prominent shipping agencies in the Strait of Gibraltar.
Active since 1856 in Ceuta and Melilla, and with thousands of successfully closedoperations on our backs, our brand not only focuses on offering high-quality bunkering services. We are also an international reference in other areas, such as the supply of provisions for ships in Ceuta, crew changes (in the port and the bay) or radar and radio repairs.
A key element in the IBIA
With more than 800 representatives from around the world, the International Bunker Industry Association (IBIA) works to improve the development of techniques and to facilitate legal processes for all companies where bunkering is a core activity, like our own port agency in Ceuta. Founded in 1992, the association now has over six hundred active members located in 66 countries.
